Born in 1966, Fujioka Asako spent childhood years in New York and Duesseldorf, Germany. Since 1993, she has worked with Yamagata International Documentary Film Festival as New Asian Currents program coordinator, Director of Tokyo Office, and now on the Board of Directors. She organizes workshops to introduce Asian filmmakers to new experiences, distributes Asian documentaries in Japan, and handles international liaison for Japanese documentaries. She is one of the founders and board members of non-profit Independent Cinema Guild in Japan and recently joined the executive committee of Tokyo Docs, an international pitching forum.

Chalida Uabumrungjit studied films and film archiving in Thailand and the UK. In 2002, she received Asia Public Intellectual Grant to do research on Japanese documentary. She is one of the founding members of Thai Short Film and Video Festival which she served as Festival Director since 1997. She also works as programmer for Asian Documentary and Short Films of Bangkok International Film Festival. She has coordinated Thai film programs for various film festivals such as Coming of Age of New Thai Cinema (Hong Kong, China), Toronto Reel Asian International Film Festival (Canada), Asian Film Symposium (Singapore), Thai Film Festival (Japan) and the Pordenone Silent Film Festival (Italy). She's currently working as a deputy director at Film Archive in Thailand.
Jane H.C. YU

Born in Taiwan, Jane Yu received her MA in Cinema Studies from New York University. As a veteran programmer and film critic, she is the founder and director of BOOK MEETS FILM Forum, promoting Chinese- language book-to-film adaptations. Also, Jane is one of the founders and committee of Asian Network of Documentary Fund (AND), Busan International Film Festival. In 2016, she produced Power of Taiwan Cinema. She wrote and translated many books on cinema including The Cinema Magician - Chen Po-Wen's World of Cinema, a biography of award-winning editor Chen Po-Wen (A One and a Two, A Brighter Summer Day) and edited Asian Documentary Today, and Women and Image: Diverse Views of Women’s Cinema.

Sunah Kim earned a B.A. in Communications in Korea and a M.A. in Film in U.S.A. In 2006, she started working with Korean documentary productions as a field producer. For 12 years, she had worked on over 60 documentaries which were aired on major TV stations in Korea. She also produced narrative films for independent filmmakers in New York and directed TV programs that were aired on five cable channels in the U.S. In 2014, she moved back to Korea, and started working with several international documentary projects. She has participated in many prestigious documentary programs in Korea and Europe, including IDFA Summer School and Film Forum, and produced a highly acclaimed feature documentary, Singing with Angry Bird.
