Director's Profile Hao LIU’s directorial debut film <ChenMo and MeiTing> received the NETPAC Award and a Special Mention for PREMIERE First Movie Award at 2002 Berlin International Film Festival. His second feature, <Two Great Sheep> was screened at Cannes Film Festival and was awarded at many International film festivals including the Best Feature Award at 2005 Canada Victoria Independent Film & Video Festival.
Synopsis
"Addicted to Love" is a film featuring the life of an elderly couple with a great sense of humor and contemplating the joy of life. Old Pop and Li Ma were fond of each other from long time ago. Their children worry that their parents might be too old to survive a stormy relationship, therefore they keep a cautious attitude. Old Pop and Li Ma realized that they were showing early signs of Alzheimer. They try to use the relationship to strengthen their brain power and work together in order to prevent the slow down effect of the debilitating illness.
