Director's Profile Born in 1976, PARK Jung-bum graduated from Yonsei University, major in physical education and finished Dongguk graduate school of digital image & contents. He directed two short films, Templementary (2001) and 125 JEON Seung-Chul (2008). He was working as an assistant director in LEE Chang-Dong’s Poetry from 2008 to 2010. He is now working on full-length version of 125 JEON Seung-Chul in the post-production stage.
Synopsis
Jeong-chul works at a factory that makes soybean paste (Doenjang) in Gangwon province. He’s been dreaming of sweet home where he can spend his life with love of his life. But Jeong-Chul’s daydream is shattered as his father wants a tennis court over a silly house. Even worse, his loved one is no more looking at the same side with him. He decides to leave those dream breakers and heads Seoul.
Director's Note
What should we believe to live? What leads us to keep alive in this crazy world where we have no idea of what happens next? I want to show that happiness is to breathe and to live on even if we are nobody.
