Director's Profile KIM graduated from Chung Ang University majoring in film studies. His documentary The Day When Grandpa Went Out won the Prime Minister’s Award at the National Undergraduate Audiovisual Festival. In 2008, KIM’s feature The Pot was invited to several international film festivals including Busan (New Currents section) and Rotterdam. Kim is currently studying Screenwriting in the Department of Cinema Studies at Korea National University of Arts.
Synopsis
Sang-won, Min-wook, Seung-jun are classmates and best buddies. A year after their high school graduation Sang-won and Seung-jun pay a visit to Min-wook who is serving his military service duty. As the visiting hours comes to an end Seung-jun starts to act weird and he gives a letter to Sang-won. The letter is from Min-wook’s girlfriend and it says “let’s be friends.” The three friends embrace the letter and spends two days together in snow covered Choelwon.

I wanted to tell my story. The story how I spent the winter with my friends in 1999…
