In 2008, Asian Network of Documentary (AND) newly
launched AND SHOWCASE and continuously presented films that were completed
with a help of AND funds at Korea, Spain, Iran, and Taiwan. The showcase
not only offers opportunities for the films to meet the wide range of audiences
but also seek new distributing network of documentary films throughout its
screening. Moreover, it will strengthen the network among documentary filmmakers
in Asia and the broaden possibilities of the distribution for the higher
international recognition of AND.
