Synopsis
Toto or Nono, as he is commonly referred to by the people in the slums, is a very outspoken and opinionated eight-year-old boy with a harelip and a distinct speech malformation. He juggles his days criticizing his Japayuki mother’s transient love life, eluding the neighborhood bully and helping a stray boy find his way home. Recently the boy figures it will be totally cool to participate with his school’s very high profile Declamation Competition. You think it’s a handful for a frail little boy? Not for Nono ? a boy who has set his mind to always shine in everything he does, no matter what.
