ACF - Asian Cinema Fund

Focusing on Strategic Co-productions and Regional Synergy

The Asian Cinema Fund (ACF) is announcing a strategic reorganization of our support programs for 2026. To foster more sustainable and impactful collaborations within the region, we are shifting our focus toward international co-productions between Korea and Asia.

  - Major Changes for 2026

• Post-Production Support Fund
  • New Scope: Exclusively available for Korean film projects.
  • Note: The previous "Asian Project" category has been discontinued.
• Co-production Support Fund (Expanded)
  • Objective: To vitalize co-productions between Asian and Korean filmmakers.
  • Selection: Minimum of 2 projects.
  • Grant Amount: A total of KRW 140,000,000 (Approx. USD 100,000).

- Why the Change?

Our goal is to move beyond short-term finishing grants and toward long-term, high-value partnerships. By expanding the Co-production Fund, we aim to provide more substantial financial backing to projects that bridge the creative talents of Korea and Asia.
